I saw the blue cruiser at the Walmart here the other day. I haven't seen the Mongoose, or the OP cruiser. I do like the looks of the OP...

NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MARTI saw the blue cruiser at the Walmart here the other day. I haven't seen the Mongoose, or the OP cruiser. I do like the looks of the OP...
Shaggy Just shut up and ride!!
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MARTFrom what I can tell the OP seems to be a decent sized bike too....more in line with the Electras and Nirves maybe.
I'll have to go by there again and pull one out next time and bring my good camera.
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MARTCool.....looks very "Electra-fied". Chain and seat stays look nice and wide too. Only wish we could them here in Oz for that price
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)It appeared that the cheapest parts on the bike were the pedals and the grips.
What was interesting was how large the frame was. I'm 5' 9" and when I stood next to it, the top bar was at my waist. I sat on the seat and it made some cheap crunchy spring noises so the seat may be worthless too. But for pete sakes....$109 is just flat cheap in my opinion.
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Reading the reviews on the Wal-Mart site...sounds like the rear hub is junk...not surprising.
Someone already added an engine kit to one... ![]() ![]()
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Where is the RIDING Pic?

Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)"Attention Wal-Mart shoppers....we have a rat rodder on aisle 9.....I repeat, a rat rodder on aisle 9....please move to the outer edge to avoid a collision."
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)i like how the display insert is still in the front wheel
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Picked up a huffy cranbrook for the wifey, mommy's day gift
I'm diggin that OP cruiser, hmmm
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)
Yeah...I laughed at that too. I guess he was trying to show that it was still a new bike and had not been ridden or something. Either that or he couldn't figure out how to remove it....ha ha!
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)I may have to go and plunk down some bread for the OP bike.. I do like the swoopy frame lines.. looks to have some real potential...
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Forgive my ignorance, but what does "OP" stand for ?

Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Ocean Pacific
It was a popular brand of surf equipment and clothing back in the 70s and 80s. As with all of these cool old brands, they ran their course and were then bought out cheap by some big marketing company and now the name ends up on all kinds of stuff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean_Pacific
Re: NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)Thanks Steve ! Sorry for the interruption, please carry on looking for cheap chinese
