Took the wheels to a collegue this morning, he straightened them out. I've done that once, but it wasn't a big succes, he's got more experience... Thanks, Ronald!
Then I had to put tires on them (probably gonna buy some slicks) and check the bike out. Then I got exited : )

So then I had to put on some handlebars, and I went for my initial idea of using cruiser-style handlebars. These were very very wide, I cut of about 6" on both sides. I'm happy so far.

I put on the high sissybar, but I think it really needs a low one. We'll see : )

The headlight mounted on there makes the bike look tough.

Did some more bearing cleaning today (we're running out of used toothbrushes!), went bike-shopping and bought a crankset and a chain, both alloi-grey, nice combo. They didn't have the chrome seatpost I wanted, (just a simple 25,4 mm) but it's supposed to be there tomorrow.
Ofcourse I put the stuff on my bike immediately, but it's hardly rideable without a seat : )
I'm thinking about not doing the Saab-logo's on the tank, so the name doesn't make any sence. Bought two Thrasher-logo (with flames) stickers of eBay, hope they're here in time!

That Chain / Crank / Ring combo is schweeeet!!!
I love the Brushed silver look it has.

This bike is quickly growing to be one of my Favourites!

I do like that the Saab logo is not going to be used.
all be it a cool Logo...I think the bike is starting to take on it's own
name!

and the bike doesn't remind me of the "Saab Fighter Jet"..or "The car".
I love the Silver accents.

can't wait to see more,

peace,
Kev.

LOL! I'm sorry, Rickster, good one, if you don't ask...
It's too far away, haha!
Thanks a bunch, guys! I'm starting to like this bike more and more myself : )
Just what I was thinking about the logo, Kev.

And although it looks awesome in it's nakedness, I think I have to put on some fenders (probably chome if I don't find a donor-bike soon) and a chainguard, cause it's always raining here. (Last few days are nice though)
I got the cheapest pedals and grips, and I only noticed yesterday that they match!
