I changed some hinges on range rover discovery the other day. I took the old hinge and cut it up welded on a few accent pieces drilled and tapped a few holes.
What purpose do they hold??????

What a weekend. Got a lot of parts painted and ready for assembly. Down here in south florida we are getting our yearly douching courtesy of tropical storm debbie. It was a nice break from the heat.
Image
heer are several pics from the weekend.
I got all my holes drilled for the tins to be mounted.

got the wheels painted and tires mounted.
Image
had a brand new xf jag come in with a frontend hit the other. this emblem had a unnoticable scratch on it so the customer got a new one and i got this one. I took it apart a repainted the background and there you have it. just got a figure out a place for it.

here is the rear fender. the mounting bracket is handle from a cabinet i found in the trash a few years ago.

well well well its been a real busy week between work, drumming in a band and buildingthis bike. I havn't had the time to post. Here comes a blitz of pics from the past week. I started by finishing the tins and riveting one in place. I then made brackets to hang taillight / battery case.

I mounted the jag emblem on the front door of the canister so that it would double as a handle to access the battery.

so a put chain on and rolled it outside to get a look at it with these bars on it.
Image
but then i thought about these bars. they are from a privious build. the bullets really set them apart from others i have.

I was about to rivet on the other tin but then decided to add some l.e.d. light bars a snagged from a range rover taillight that was smasshed up in a crash. I tuzipped tied the m together and to the bike itself was a quick easy addition and looks f-n sweet!

I started the wiring for the led taillight, led underbody lights and the headlight. the headlight looks neat sittin on there. I will mount it tomorrow once it is wired so i can aim the headlamp before its bolted down forever! I also added a jag emblem to the one tin.

That extended back end is sweet. I like how you did the rear fender too. This is gonna look freaking awesome at night when the switch is flipped.
I tried being serious, but it was boring.
