Rims are Here!

Kris Holm Freeride Unicycle rims. they are some of the strongest 36 hole 45mm rims going. as a matter of fact there is not many 36 hole 45 mm wide rims going today. they weigh between 600-700 grams. i know who cares, but until you pedal a 1200 gram rim all day you can appreciate rotational weight.

they are off to be built today. ***note i am not building the wheels** just so everyone knows. sorry i just have no desire to learn.

lace them up to these bad boys and they will be just wide enough and stop well.

here is the Sturmey Archer front hub with 90 mm Drum brake.

this is the money side as far as i am concerned.

It took my 3 hours to learn to lace a wheel. But now it takes 20min thanks to youtube!
But in your defence i hesitated for 25years to try it.

i worked in a bike shop for 5 years and i can stumble through it if i want to. two of my friends manage shops and one owns one so i just let them contribute. their wheels come out way better than mine. after all they do how may per year compared to my 1-2 sets per year.

the combo of rims, spokes, nipples and rim tape will really help this bike pop.

I am going to paint the bike flat black so it need some bling.
