I feel strange saying this; since I'm currently unemployed and rolling-pennies-for-gas-broke, but I'd be willing to put up a one-time $20.00 donation.

Once I'm working again; I'd be able to kick something into the pile once in awhile (annually).

I haven't been here very long; but I've already saved way more than that in discounted or free parts, not to mention the knowledge I've gained.

As far as what I'd like to see; I'll just say this: As far as shirts go,if it's got a banana seat, ape hangers and a sissy bar on it, I'm pretty much in. 8)

I love the concept of the new gallery. I understand that any programming will cost money and the always constant upkeep is never cheap. That being said, yes I would be willing to kick in afew coins here and there, but the idea of an anual fee seems wrong. The reason I say this is simple: Look at the hobby all of us enjoy, some of us restore to showroom condition and spend way too much for what others would consider "just a bike" but its a labor of love so we do it anyway. And then theres those of us who spend as little as possible (not cuz we are cheap) because that is the "rat rod" way of thinking and doing things but probably in the end still spend way more than originally intended. Although twenty bucks wouldn't be that much over the course of the year, it may detract from new members coming around. I personnally hate checking out a site where they lure you in with 'No membership fee' or 'free to sign up' only to find out that unless you give something you are unable to access the truly useful information. Sure it would be the equivalant of one less tire bought, or one less pair of grips and a rusty crusty ready to fall apart seat that we think would look uber sweet on that new ride, but for some, thats half the money they may be able to budget for parts actually paid for during the year. We have a great community here and I do not want to put a price tag on it or have one members status or prowess be more than the next guys just because they are not able to give like others may be able to. What some may lack in monetary funds they can make up for in knowledge. Please DO NOT make this a pay to play site. Would I leave if it were? Maybe, maybe not. It may cease to be my home page and the girlfriend may yell at me less for being on here so much but then again I may also suck it up and say 'ahh what the heck I need my RRB.com fix'. Ratrod if you read this, PM me, I will donate because I am ABLE but I feel that I need to voice my opinion and speak for those that may not be. Thank you for creating a great site and to all the members that contribute in any way they can, thank you for making it always better.

A bike gallery would rock.. I also think it would be cool to make it search able by the state the builder is from.

As a couple Dave and I love your t-shirt designs. Last time we bought a tshirt for both of us in two different colors. I like stickers a lot, maybe even magnets to put on the fridge.. What about air freshners? Or a Christmas ornament? Keychains, Charms for necklaces because us ladies love to accessorize (admit it, we do).. Who wears ball caps? My husband does but preferably with the elastic band in the back. He'd totally buy one!

My attention span is too short at the moment. I don't know if there were other questions ;D

can you create a link for the store/goods on the board index. my android will not allow me to use any of the buttons on the top of the page. i had to save the board index as the home page to even access the site.
Im old enough to remember when we were young, we sold our bikes for LESS than what we paid for them new.....stores should start selling used bikes.

Just a couple functional things. First, the 'for sale' forum is a pain to rummage through because every time I click a posting, the item is sold. Is there a way to delete obsolete postings? Second, is there a patch or something that you could put in that would put postings in order of the date they were posted? The calendar entry, and gallery forums both put new postings randomly throughout the older postings. It is confusing, and frustrating when you are trying to check out the new projects.
Speaking of patches... an RRB patch would be awesome, or a headbadge. New Belgium Brewery (maker of 'Fat Tire') makes a pretty cool headbadge.
Anyway, love the site, and can't wait to see what you do with it in the future.
Thanks: Bobby

I actually like that the sold stuff stays in the for sale section. I like to see what's going for what and how fast certain things sell. If everyone (many do) would edit the title of their post saying it's sold you could just skip those.

Maybe... he/she who donates the most in one month no matter the amount... gets recognized on the home page with a story and a picture of one of thier bikes for a couple days... gives everyone a chance to be on home page at some point... and incentive to give if you have spair change to donate.... :D

ratrodbikes ,has been a great expierence for me ,i have learned so much about bikes here , the history of bikes and the companys that made them ,is very interesting to me , i think i would like to see a calender that has stock bikes and a brief history included with each bike , and tee shirts in my opinion have to have the cool factor to make them sell , cool graphics of the old bikes on the shirts would be cool to me , and in the kickstand magazine more features of old bikes ,and not just tankers , but all that being said .....ratrodbikes has got points of its own ..setting way up high .....I love it 8) 8) 8)
...what a story a bicycle could tell ....

Hi friends,

My apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere but I have always wished there was a way to "favorite" or bookmark certain posts within the site. My Google Chrome favorites list has about two dozen links to specific posts here in the forum but I wish I could login to my account and see all my favorite posts right from my User Control Panel.

Is this feature already available? Have I missed it somehow?

Thanks,

Ryan

Seems like a lot of people prefer the lighter colors. Would be nice if we had the option to buy one.

Dont care for the "fitted" version at all, or a super soft, just a regular ol T-Shirt (that dont shrink) works for me.
