the wooden saddle came from an old fella',said he made it himself because he could'nt
afford to buy a new one.i gave him money to buy a new saddle,in exchange for the wooden one. :D
after some coat of varnish and paint...

Image

i've decided to put a woodtank of some sort,i had this made by a carpenter and then applied some varnish...

next i used some piece of flatbar and an old handle from a bucket,
as a holder for the woodtank...

Image
Image

after bending 3 brackets, drilled holes in them, bending and cutting the bucket handle in half...
using a ruler, nuts and bolts and some masking tape...this is how it looked like in the frame...

Image
Image

...some welding...

Image
Image

time to prep the bike for paint, sorry i only have pictures of the parts painted...
rattle canned everything, for budget reasons :D

@ scrumblero thanks :D ...the springer truss came with the bike,
plus its a common truss rod among the 28" bikes found here...

@ ifitsfreeitsforme yup it looks similar,
the springer truss are common among japanese and european bikes...

@ skipton thanks bro. :D

the rear fender has a white end, tryed some pinstriping with an ordinary brush

Image

staying true with the wood inserts,i removed the reflector from the pedals
to make room for some broom handle...

Image

measuring and cutting the broom stick to the size of the pedals...

Image
Image

rounding the edges a bit,and drilling holes...
the broom stick will be bolted on the pedals...some after pics

Image
Image
Image

took this guys off an old furniture, drilled holes using some tape as guide or limiter...
they will be my valve stem cover...varnish applied for protection and looks  ...

time to assemble everything...

My favorite part is when bicycle parts start floating around your yard.
