Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLElooks good so far, gman.
Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLEAdding to the list:
This one I just finished. I completely went throught the BB, both hubs and fork stearing. Then frame stripped, I coated it [ and fenders, rack] with boiled linseed oil,let dry [it dries slowly?] then sprayed it with rustolium high gloss lacquer. Rides really good. Yes the fenders and rack are not Worksman, but go really well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() NO Its NOT a schwinn, does NOT fit, look like, sound like, feel like, NOT similar, does NOT fit a SCHWINN!
Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLEbike looks great, outsider; what's the story with the boiled linseed oil?
Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLEFrame and wheels from ind-chuckz... I'm diggin this bike!! I was gonna strip it and paint it over, but I thought the chips and scratches belong on a Wroksman..so I cleaned and waxed it..

Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLElooks good, weakfish. i firmly believe that ind-chuckz is the single-most important contact that a worksman enthusiast can make. He sure beats the folks who actually work for Worksman!
-rob ps-what cranks are those?
Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLEHowdy all,
I am new to this site but I just picked up a very cool Workman(will post picks later) and I have a couple of questions. 1)Is the headset a normal 1 inch? If so, will is accept any 1" headset? If not, what kind is the best to get? 2)What is the seat post diameter? Thanks. BTW, some really nice Workmans
Re: SHOW US YOUR WORKSMAN BICYCLEI think the seat post is 22.2 if I remember correctly. I had a little trouble finding a replacent. Bout an afternoons worth of Checking used bike stores to find the right one.
