The Pope and Central Services- Airship Division

Postby Bigcam59 on Sun Jun 10, 2012 1:40 pm

This is actually a 2 bike story. It started out when I won this skiptooth Pope with motor on Ebay...

I played with it a bit and made this boardtracker...

Well the motor didn't fit the frame very well and I was a bit leery of using the original 75 year old wheels, so the motor was removed. The Pope got it's fenders and original bars back and I built the Central Services motorbike. I made use of an old Peugot mountain bike frame, hid the tank in the toolbag and used old ceiling fan blades for the frame sign. An antique headlight from ebay and she's good to go.

Pretty Cool! Put a basket on it and you'de have a really sweet cycle truck. Love the headlamp.

Using an old fan blade is an awesome idea. Great build.
