Re: FREE TRADE

Postby hotfoot on Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:22 am

I've got some stuff I'd like to trade. First off is a Sears Spyder frame. It comes with the stock cranks, the sprocket came off a Stingray (but I'm not sure if it's a Schwinn sprocket), that chrome sprocket cover, some old pedals, and an old BMX seat. Pretty random assortment, but maybe somebody can use it. The frame is missing a brace on the upper rear end, and has a slight bend in it, which I've tried to photograph. It's fixable, but right now I've got my mind set on other projects.

Up next is a 26" Sunrims "Ditch Witch." Don't know much about it, a friend gave it to me to use on my bike, I don't need it, so it's up for trade. It comes with a Specialized Roller 26"x2.5" rear tire.

I'm looking for a Schwinn Stingray fork, a speedometer set up for my '58 Columbia, or a thrashed old boys bike cruiser frame. I know it's a shot in the dark, but you never know. If nobody wants to trade, then it's all for sale too, make me an offer.
Give me forty acres and I'll turn this rig around.

Re: Kooka cranks, S-works frame

Postby biss-ness on Thu Feb 26, 2009 7:57 pm

PM sent on the crank... I will take it! Thanks Tyler

Walker wrote:Up for barter. one set used, Kooks cnc'd cranks, anodized green with two chainrings that are essentially new.

older, Specialized S-works frame, 1" steerer, custom repainted by specialized (paint warranty). expect typical dings but still has lots of life left in it. 15" center to top. I will include XTR seatpost, post clamp, new saddle, steel no-name forks, ritchey logic headset and whatever bottombracket is in there...This was a fun mtb and a fun two speeder (see cranks above)

i could use $ (like everyone else), the snow to stop, a good nights sleep, a case of UFO.

Seriously, make me a reasonable offer and they're yours.

soory for the huge photos, tried to edit after loaded and computer choked....

Thanks

I have this girls free spirit that I picked up for the tires and rims, does anyone need anything off of it. I dont really need anything just thought I ask before it goes to the metal yard. Also have a boys Murray mountain bike that the forks are bent on that I will be tossing as well.

Pair of fender braces, possibly from a columbia or a hartford and a kickstand. Braces are fairly straightish, kickstand has just the right ammount of rust and may even have an authentic antique squeak.

trade for a neat old headbadge or two. Can haul to Monson swap meet.

Murray musclebike frame for stem and bars (black) or for my '75 Scrambler? Or maybe a springer for a 26" bike?

Red Line 444 BMX frame W/ extras

Postby Walker on Mon Mar 30, 2009 8:56 am

Open to offers, mens balloon frame? Shipping seems to run about $ 30.00 to the west coast. Local pick up is always acceptable, or i may go to the RR ride in North Hampton NH. This is a 24" wheel model "cruiser"

Chrom is pretty good, couple of spots need some buffing out, headset and cranks turn freely but as an added bonus i will overhaul the bottom bracket and headset. comes as you see it, post, pedals, bars, seat etc.
