Schwinn Delorean DMC-12

Postby TheFlyingDingo on Sun May 10, 2009 12:04 pm

Well, i'm In. As the title says I still have to find a frame. I will be working with a fourm member-thepicklenat0r
I need a 26" frame from the 80's. I don't really want diamond, I need to find cantilever.

I will leave hints for the theme as I go.

As of right now, i got the frame and im stockpiling parts...me and pickle are officially starting in the middle of june, when school is for sure out.

Right now,
Ive been working my butt off at my uncles house making $8.00 an hour
about 90% of the money i make is going towards this bike, So i want it to be GOOD!

Still no hints on theme right now

Re: Bike theme released-Schwinn Frame

Postby TheFlyingDingo on Thu Jul 23, 2009 5:34 pm

So today i did some true work to the bike and cut the original kickstand thing off.
Image

Since its so close to the end of the build, I am going to release the major idea/theme for the bike
Image

Since the Stainless steel(bare frame) got overwhelming, I am painting monday/tuesday. This baby is getting hte nice automotive paint as i think ive said before.

There is another twist...
