kram wrote:Not really an update but I thought I'd post it anyways. I usually start my day with some warm up sketches, and I figured why not do one of my build off bike. I ended up taking it a little further than a typical warm up sketch. Also there isn't a particular reason Dracula is riding it, he just happened to be the first character that popped into my head.

i would like that on a tshirt please!

Well, I think I decided on a color. Originally I was planning on using navy blue, but I decided that I wanted something lighter. I didn't have much luck finding a lighter blue that I liked. However I already had a can of Rustoleum 'Herbal Green' and it is just what i was looking for. The only parts that will get painted are the rims and some of the detail on the tank.

The color looks a little different than the pictures but it gives you a pretty good idea.

really digging the color...huge fan of the more natural based tones like that.

cool ideas. I like the alternative shifter. Like some of the hidden latches and stealth controls you see on modern hotrods.

Karfer- The rim is an Electra one.

Sensor- Mint ice cream is a perfect description for the color. I'm planning on trying to do the stripping on the tank and I was thinking orange would be a nice compliment. I'd love to do it on the wheels, but I'm not sure I have the skill to pull it off.

Maybe try the Sharpie marker technique. The B6 I bought had that done in black and it doesn't look bad. They make them in orange.
