JOHN DEERE BUILD

Postby tdd on Mon Apr 02, 2012 9:45 pm

This is my latest build. I'm doing it for a friend that is into John Deere tractors. He found it on craigslist last week. It is a 20" not sure who made it.If any body knows or has pictures of one please post them.Image

Sorry I couldn't resist.

Here's all I know...
John Deere put out bicycles from 1894 -1900 and again in 1972 -1976.

Cool little bike.

Now it's time to take it back apart and get it striped for paint.

I have the boys fenders, and they have stickers on them from I don't know maybe 70's and they are like old dirtbikes and stuff like that, it is really cool, also the basket on the girls is stock for that bike too, bought them from the original owner and a couple days later he tracked us down and gave us the manuals for both bikes.

I wasn't sure what kind of fenders it had. I'm building it for someone else so I'm doing it the way he wants it. Thanks for the info.
