From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Whew, this took about 2 months to do. It's a 1955 Columbia Westfield. The only thing that's not original w/ the bike is the tires, which were shot. It does have the original rims. Banged out all the dents on the fenders. There was a lot of time spend w/ a wire wheel.

Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Very nice job! Paint looks GREAT!
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Classy!! Diggin the blue/white scheme.
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...
No way. Add up the value of enjoyment you got out of fixing it up and add in the value of enjoyment you will get riding it, and it is probably pretty inexpensive per hour of fun. I tried being serious, but it was boring.
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Nice Job. Glad you had fun!
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Beautiful bike, I really dig the paint scheme. What year/make is it?

Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...I really liked the way it turned out....Well done
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...The bike looks great. It's nice to see that you tried to keep it true to the original form of the bike. One criticism: either get some brown grips, or a black saddle. (probably the latter would look better.) As it sits now, the brown saddle looks out-of-place without any other brown to balance it. That's just me, though.
Love the paint work, and I wish i had your fender restoration skills.... -rob
Re: From This...To This...My First Bicycle Restore...Thanks Rob. You know I never even noticed that. The grips are original. Appreciate it, but I think I'll keep them as is. I wanted to keep the bike "classy" looking w/ that antique feel. Nothing bold, mild, but elegant not to sound too weird. Thanks again...
