After much thought I didn't see my self pedaling with 26 teeth in the front and 9 in the rear so I went with a new departure triplspeed conversion unit!

I need to get the frame stencils done this week. I need to get the whole bike done. I'm still waiting on a guy to send me a drop stand.

Where did you get those stencils?
I have a rollfast that could use a set like that.

On pg.2 you can see that I first cut out a set in vinyl to test it out since stencils are made using a special material with less glue on the back side. When I do install them I might cut each one with scissor in 3 pieces so I can get that perfect positioning on the arrow on the side of the tube. I will take pictures so everybody can understand!

use the tape to cover the neck of the frame

paint

and the faster you remove the stencil the better

if the paint has become to dry use the exacto knife to break the paint on the edges. basically cut the paint around the edges so when you remove the stencil it doesnt remove or lift the black paint specially in the small inside design. this is why its a good idea to wait a few days before paint coats. this way when you remove the stencil it will not lift the cream color or the paint it was covering. now the stencil do tend to leave a glue residue. wait a few days and light sand the area and then you are ready for some clear coat
