Awesome piece of artwork on wheels!
Give me a spoke and I'll build a bicycle around it.

Thanks all you guys, great comments :D , I'm glad you like it
And the little guy does too!

He flipped his leg over the banana seat like a pro!

Think he was hoping to go for a ride, hence the gorilla helmet
But he had more stops with more relatives so its staying put for a few days so I can help him a bit
Don't think he's going to have any problem going fast, :D but stopping and stabilizing the bike may take some practice
Gave him a picture of his bike and my Spaceliner and told him we would take our cool bikes for a cruise in a couple of days
He seemed pretty jazzed, Awesome day! :D

This is cool you put a big smile on his young face and put new life in an old bike, it don't get any better than that.

+1, Makes me happy too :D , hope he has great times on it. I still remember my Murray Eliminator at 10...
Thanks for all the great comments, you guys have made this fun!

Went for a ride, kinda, he can reach the pedals pretty good but the climbing on/off may need some time

Image

He's got enough power so he's going to be fast!
Kids "grow like weeds" so we're gonna wait for him to get a bit taller, told him to eat his vegetables, hope that works
Promised a ride together with our muscle bikes. Got the bug with this one so am going to try another
Got a Jerald slick for my wife's 26" bike with springer yesterday, can't wait to all ride together

I missed the finale of this story until now. Great ending to a great build! Hopefully we can see more photos of the little guy enjoying his ride through the year.

Hey Everybody,
Well Mag Ray is still too big for the little guy so I got him a transitional bike
It fits him better for now and was a bit worried he would have some porblems going from this 12" bike
Image
to a 16" OCC Sting Ray
Image
He took off on it like a manic! He is getting used to the steering but no fear
Image
Image
He was yanking on the handlebars trying to pedal as hard as he could
Image
He was doing about 12mph in this shot right after he jumped off a curb :D
Image
He'll get to Mag Ray soon enough. Mag Ray will be lighter and turn faster and he'll be even faster
Sure glad he likes the OCC chopper for now.
