Indian Board Track RacerRe: Indian Board Track RacerLooking good, keep it up!
Re: Indian Board Track RacerKellis: overall dimensions are really nice, at least that is what the photos show. With the skills you've shown, you should consider an engine. It would be awsome!

You make your own History.....
Re: Indian Board Track RacerThanks very much for the kind comments guys! It's not quite from scratch, if it wasn't for the rear triangle it guess it would but I am trying to do as much as possible myself. Cant wait to ride this thing.
Re: Indian Board Track Racerwow thats way cool i realy dig the lug work
Re: Indian Board Track RacerWay cool!
When purchasing from me, remember I live 15 miles from the post office.
Re: Indian Board Track RacerThanks again for the comments guys! It really gives me a push along to get this thing done. Thanks for checking out my build.
Re: Indian Board Track RacerVery nice piece of work. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Re: Indian Board Track RacerI have been pretty slack with the updates on the build but I have been busy finishing brazing and filing up the tank. Hopefully the frame and the tank are finished this weekend and it can all be sent of for powder coating.
Here are a few photos of a trial fit of the tank while I was working on it. I only really fit it to give myself a break from the filing and grinding ![]() ![]() ![]()
Re: Indian Board Track RacerWow, this is turning out great, keep it up!
Re: Indian Board Track RacerGiven your impressive skills, I think you could
make a decent looking fake motor. Make the head removable and put a large wound-up elastic band inside, so if the cops hassle you, you can lift the head and have a good laugh.
Re: Indian Board Track RacerI can't believe I've missed this build until now. This is incredible work! I have an idea for a board tracker as a future project, and you've given me many ideas to chew on.

Re: Indian Board Track RacerThanks as always for the kind words guys. Im glad you are still interested in my build.
All of my parts are now off at the powdercoater getting all pretty while I am off holidaying in Japan. Hopefully it is all ready and assembled in a few weeks for the built in brisbane show here. My saddle is also with a guy who reupholsters bicycle saddles. His name in Mick Peel but runs by the name of Busyman. He is based in melbourne, victoria but does saddles for people all around the globe. Make sure you check out his amazing work at http://busymanbicycles.blogspot.jp/
Re: Indian Board Track RacerI just received an email from Busyman bicycle with a photo of my finished saddle. Mick did an amazing job covering it for me and now I can't wait to get it back in my hands to check it out first hand. See how he even put an impression of 'Indian' on both flaps on the side. I love the type of leather he has used, the wrinkles really give it that worn/antique look. Awesome work Mick, thanks!
