Awesome detail everywhere on this bike. I love the slight rearward bend that the tip of the sissy bar makes. The bullet tips on the ends of the sissy bar are incredible too, especially since they do double duty as the captive nut to hold it all together. You are one talented girl! Oh, and bike dads rule too. 8)

Sissy Work

Kind words indeed . . . thanks folks!

I had some time on my lunch break to tinker, so I put a chunk of 3/8' aluminum rod in the lathe and whittled these.

the stand-offs will space the sissy bar away from the dropouts like so . . .

Now we can work on getting the fender mounted properly!

YOU NEED SOME CUSTOM BARS FOR THAT BIKE.I HAVE A :idea: I CAN MAKE YOU SOME OR I CAN JUST ROLL THE TUBING FOR YOU AND YOU CAN DO THE REST.I KNOW YOU 2 WANT TO DO MOST OF THE WORK YOUR SELF.OFF THE SHELF BARS WILL NOT DO FOR THIS BIKE .I WILL NOT DO A BAR KIT FOR ANYONE ELSE.THE PEDAL GRINDERS B.C. WANT TO SEE THIS BIKE DONE .WHATS UP SLICK DO YOU WANT TO SPRAY IT .I KNOW ADAM WANTS TO STRIPE IT. :mrgreen:
