To me that looks like a 50's huffy and a 40's snyder springer fork used one the 41 Hawthorne comets and such.

Thanks for the input. It may be. It was supposed to be a mix-match. I'm not going to restore it, I just bought it because it will look cool.

What is the serial number on the frame You can date it from that.

Definitely a Snyder fork. They ride super smooth and are not too common. Here's my '48 Hawthorne with the same fork:

Oz "dealed" me into buying another old frame. I couldn't pass up the Manton and Smith frame.
I need to stop buying. It goes against my natural instinct to sell.

I picked up two more OCC's today and stopped by the Harley dealer and found a matching pair of WHITEWALLS!!! These will all go towards my future chopper trike build.

Thanks! The guy that sold me the Giant and all of the bike parts recognized me from both BEER RUN and FUGSLEY. He gave me a deal, because he said he knew that something cool would come out of the parts.

I also picked up these cool leather cases and themos.
The inside of the themos is trashed, but I love the graphics on it and think I can make a bike tank out of it. Maybe for a Capt America bike.

Received these from oz1972. Couple of cool speedos and a twn tube 5 speed shifter.

Also found this Electra seat. I figure I will have to work up a color that will work on a ladies bike flip.

That should be an easy one in your neck of the woods. I'd be lucky to get $40 for it here, not because it's not a great bike, but because if it comes to spending $40 on a used (eww, yuck, used) bike or putting $100 on a credit card for a shiny new Walmart bike, the Walmart bike wins, and they pay for it for years and years to come.
