As I was going through a bag of Boy Scout patches I picked up to sell on ebay. I came across this patch.
I remember having this same patch on the bottom of a pair of elephant bell bottom pants.

Picked up a Rhode Gear trailer hitch bike carrier for $10 and just sold it for $60.

I figured at some point I might want to bend some seatposts or handlebars or something, so I ran a WANTED ad in the tools section on CL. Here is what I got. A Harbor Freight hydraulc pipe bender along with two different size hand conduit benders. All for $40. By the way, if you haul bikes and stuff in the back of you SUV like me, then vinyl tablecloths make great drop cloths.

Also picked up this distressed faux leather case for a quarter. It is thick but soft. I think it will be perfect for some seat recovers.



Does anyone else see the beginings of a tank in this heavy duty metal vase thing for $1?

These make excellent drop cloths under a bike when you are working on it and especially when you are cleaning it and greasy crap is dripping all over. These are the retractable storage covers for the rear of an SUV. I have one from my old Jeep Grand Cherokee that I removed from the rollup contraption that I use all of the time. Picked up these two to dismantle and use for a buck a piece. The plastic is textured so it doesn't get slippery and they stand up to all kind of chemicals and abuse.

Also picked up a 54 Chevy flying bird hood ornament from Double Nickle. I plan to put it on my future Salt Flats Sidecar.

Bought this beer helmet ($1) for the siren/microphone. Maybe I can rig up the can holder and drinking tubes to the skateboard back of BEER RUN???
