Getting this cool new Nexus 7 coaster brake hub and shifter from ind-chuckz. I can't wait to get it on FlexLiner 7.

Went to a Friday yard sale at lunch. Found a Dahon Mu frame (complete bike is about $700+) along with a Seatpost, Schwalbe Marathon tire and other parts. I can probably get $150 or more for the frame as is.

I also found this cool Advent Suspension handlebar stem


And this wheel. Shimano 9 speed hub with avid disk and Bontrager Ranger rims.

I also bought some more rims and some aluminum from the tall bike artist. The rims are Dahon Kinetix, so they will be going on ebay.
Nice aluminum. Two gauges.

I have said it before that I am constantly amazed how often I will find something at a yard sale shortly after my wife or I decide we need something.
I had never even heard of a cobbler's until I saw the one pooroldlu bought. I imediately bought one on ebay. Well I should have waited another week because guess what I bought for $3 Saturday? Another cobbler's anvil.



Also picked up this gang tools, bottle opener, springs, and tea strainer for $2. I think the tea strainer could make a cool taillight. The battery terminal clamp seems like it would be a cool way to mount something to a chainstay.



Picked up this cocktail shaker for a a buck. It may become the spring cover on FlexLiner 7.



Stopped by Star Bike to drop off my Nexus 7 to be laced and bought this leather saddle from a storage closet they have.

Picked up some odd items yesterday.

Picked up two bags full of Dremel accesories for $10.
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I just use a harbor freight plastic caliper and didn't have one of dem der fancy digital ones.
Well guess what I found at a yard sale for $5

Had a good yard sale morning. Check out this pair of Phillips (Raleigh) Manhattans that I picked up. Both have SA 3 Speed Generator hubs, front and back lights, bells, tire pump, and really cool seatube decals. The mens bike also has a neat stem mounted rear view mirror and a nice color matching seatbag with original tool kit inside.

I have never seen a lugged cantilever before and wasn't even aware that Raleigh made any cantis during this era. I am guessing late 50s to mid 60s.

I also picked up this cooler for a future build and got a free Lobster Lovers Beer (9.5%).

Not bad for $2.
