Tires were a bit rougher then I realized... but it's still good for trips around the block...

I'm guessing it's early 60's... but I dunno squat about these things... Aside from I'm diggin it :wink:

I've rode it around the block a couple times now... the smiles per mile are still pretty high at this point... LOL!

They're Murray built bikes. The Fleetwing brand was a department store brand. Most often seen on fishing and other sporting goods equipment. Not sure what store it was that carried them.

My friend has one, she picked up in an antique store here in CT. It's very similar to yours but the differences are interesting. Hers is a 1959.

Hers came with Vredestein tires... a Dutch made WW tire. They're beautiful bikes in good condition.
Just a suggestion... don't let it out of your sight when KOTA's around. :)

Took it for a spin around the block yesterday... rides sweet!

Gotta figure out something with the headlight... I guess.. or I could leave it alone... But I'd like to patch the crack, get the light to work and maybe have another decal made for it...

Thanks... I needed a bench that folded up outta the way and was durable... and that's what we came up with... the taillights light up on it too. :wink:
