In bikes I like to see the same thing. Something different. Something that pushes the envelope of what a bicycle can be. something I want to steal ideas from. That is what gets my vote.

That's who got my votes last year, not that the top vote getters weren't awesome, but I kind of "expected them." (sorry guys, you won anyway)

Add this one to dream list, only builders get a vote, or only people with XXX posts.

I can see that as problematic and more work for Steve, so how about this one, a builder's choice award, in a separate thread, not a vote, but each builder (who finished their build-off bike on time) posts the name of the 1 bike they'd like to own for all the world to see. This one would be easy.

I just found out my Columbia is a 1955 Newsboy. It's not built yet, so I'll hold off and use it as my build in the Annual.

Count me in! I love the original rules just the way they are. It is all about fun. Of course I like other build off styles such as anything goes etc. but to me this is THE build off of the year and although I know it may change with time but I hope it changes very very slowly.

Don't care about winning, as long as I can blow a few minds with the wicked, awesome, super kewl, bad to the bone, ROAD bike that voices in my head have been ordering me to build for the last few months.

Maybe something like my 1959 DNB Porta Fold or my Graziella folding 16" tandem.

If I could make these bikes look HOT, I would deserve something!!!!

You also make it weigh about 50-60 pounds!!!! This thing weighs about as much as Fugsley!!
You also add big ape hangers on it so that as you are putting it compactly in the back of you car the handlebars catch on everything!!
