Just saved this from the dump. No head badge and I can't find any info on it. I'm assuming 60s from the style. I think it's a 2 speed Bendix shifter. Other than that I'm lost. Help!!

I thought columbia too because if the sticker but that was the bike shop it was bought at I guess. I looked up Monark but didn't see anything close to this one. If it is Monark I'll have to find a head badge to finish it off. Thanks guys

I looked too, couldn't find this bike. I guessed Monark because of the chain ring and the fact that the whole bike looks original, so that's probably the original chain ring. Columbia bikes have telltale dropouts and other features different from your bike too.

Huffy bought Monark and were building them sometime around 1958. I saw a 60's Monark with a Huffy chain ring, so I think yours must be from 57-58. Yours doesn't have a Huffy serial number either. Also, I remember reading that the cantilever style frame was beginning to be made by all bike companies, not just Schwinn, after 1957.

I just noticed you can almost make out some lettering from whatever the badge might have been. This is driving me crazy since this bike is nowhere online. :39:

With no screw holes, it must have been a sticker. Maybe a hardware or department store bike made by Monark or Huffy. I can't find a Glider named bike anywhere. The seat is also one I've never seen in that pattern.

It definitely is a bike worth keeping original and riding.

Yep definitely a sticker badge, I see a D and E close to the bottom vertically. Reminds me of the old Huffy badges. This is gonna bother me till I find one. Hahaha. Persons seat looks in good condition too. Since it's a middle weight I don't have much use for it. Maybe I can give it a once over and see if there's anybody interested on here.
