I have come to the conclusion that I need to mark my territory. I must Kustomize my Bike. What goes on good and is a hard finish. I know to sand, prime, prep is key... but is one paint better then others. I know Powder Coating is King. But I am not a wealthy guy. I want to paint the Rims Red and the Frame Simi-gloss Black. Not Flat and not Gloss. Any help would be appreciated.

This was the old bike. R.I.P.

Orchard Supply hardware sell their own brand of rattle can. They are usually an sale for $1.79 a can and they have a satin black which has a nice semi gloss finish. It is easy to spray, easy to touch up, and is just as durable as any other rattle cans I have tried.

primer is only necessary on the bare metal,
& repaired spots.TSC has the tractor supplement
paint in a rattle can. this is a common paint
used by rat rodders on their automobiles.
