I just pick this up this morning . Let's just say the wood wheels are worth more then I paid for the whole bike . It might be from the 20's . Time to get on wicked net .

That is going to be a sweet build. Are you going with the red & white colors? I picked up new tires and rims for mine from BMXguru for $80 for everything, was going to give you a heads up on them but my buy must have been the end of them.

No decision on color or tires yet .
Trying to find info on which tires fit the 28" wood wheels ?
The more I read the more confused I get .
Will these fit ? Looks like a decent deal ?

I don't know about the tires for wood wheels, I get confused with them too. I think if they are clinchers you can use modern 28s and the older glue on 28s require the hard to find and expensive tires. My rims were way past saving so I got some black AS7X wheels and am going to build them onto a Shimano coaster hub and go 1/2" pitch.

What size wheel are you going to run ?
I have these wheelmaster,s 29" .
Maybe I'll turn into a fixie complete with disc brakes.
This Florida humidity would not be good for wood wheels .

I'm going 29er. When I saw the rims and tires for $80 combined I jumped on it.
