This Western Flyer X-53 popped up on FB Marketplace about an hour away, so I took an extended lunch break to get it.
I am the third owner. The couple I got it from had bought it from the estate of an old man that got it new when he was 13 years old.
Obviously painted over. The only issues that I see are warped front wheel, slight side bend to the right fork leg, and the rear reflector is upside down.
