I found this brazed, 1970s era 10 speed that has been turned into a weird singlespeed with 700c wheels and a front brake only. The bike has been painted poorly and the rear brake and shifter bosses have been cut off.

The nubs on the front indicate that this bike had a metal headbadge. I put on the sticker. It has a Japanese headset.

The bike has been modified with a 1990s Shimano cartridge bottom bracket. It has an international size bottom bracket shell.

It has American-style stamped steel dropouts.

Looking at the fork, the bike was originally green. It has a normal 10 speed bike fork.

I can't figure out why someone would chop the dropouts like that. Might be a good candidate for the build off, maybe weld in some track style ends.
