I finally cast my votes... and man, was it difficult.

I looked at the bikes for 3-4 days, and if I can't remember them by name, then they did not strike a chord with me... so I found it easier to vote without looking at the gallery.

    Good luck, everyone!

Every time I go through the gallery, I see one I never saw before!!

I came around too late to participate in this build off, but I will definitely be in on the next one...

What an incredible slate, truly an inspiration to a not-so-young budding rat bike builder! How do I wrap all of these ideas into a single bike?

Ok, I took a totally different approach to voting this time. I never once looked at the build threads, and didn't check out the finished bikes until Steve posted the nice gallery section. I have no idea who built what, and based my votes on what I saw in the finished bike pics. I thought it would make things easier, boy was I wrong! There are a ton of awesome bikes, this is definitely the toughest build off to vote on yet.

If anyone else is casting their votes the same way as mine, good luck, it took me a few days to decide.

fwiw, i thought some sort of coherent build thread was supposed to be part of the criteria.....and part of the fun.....it's certainly a tie-breaker for me :D

I find the build thread and the finished thread almost as important as the bike. to me a big part of the build is the excitement of seeing what the builders are doing and going through to get their bikes done. you'll miss lots of the finer details that the builders think are important if you don't go through the build threads. they are an integral part of the bike's personality.
