Anybody here know where I could get a vintage style tail light that runs on ordinary batteries? I like the looks of some of the old bullet lights and motorcycle vintage lights but they all either use a generator or wired . Maybe I could convert one of those old motorcycle lights to battery power, not sure if it could be done. Any info on this subject is appreciated

What gcrank1 said. It works great. LEDs don't use that much energy either so the batteries last,or get rechargables.

SORCERER

I took an old generator taillight and put a bright LED in it with a small flat battery and small switch and looks awesome and works great.
I drilled a small hole under the seat pan, between the springs and mounted it with a spacer.
I do get alot of cool compliments and where can I buy one.

Kuryakyn or from a distribution company called V-Twin Manufacturing offers LED bulbs that would just be plug and play with the sockets.
