Plans - they always seem to change... but will try to keep to it.

Finish a simple bobber like daily. Lol ... sounds easy.. what I have now is:

    80cc 2 stroke china kit
    26" Target Schwinn cruiser (donated)
2 single gear chains w/master link
26" rear wheel replacement w/freewheel sprocket
    26" wheel rubber trim
    1 set of bike grips
    1 Schwinn bmx stem
    1 Mongoose bmx kickstand

So the donor bike had 7 gears, i took it out cause the rear wheel was bent with a bat. Replaced it with a used mountain bike 26. Had problems with chain guidence, but fixed it. Now both crank and engine sprocket line up. I swapped the handle grips out cause one side was too short. Took off the front brakes, but kept the rear. I chopped the seat post clamp so i could move the seat back a top of the rim. As of now it looks like all i need is a headlight and mirror and she's ready to ride.

What i want to do to it is drop it. I measured my inseem and I'm at 23". So my plan is to get a 20" rear wheel (hopefully the 20x80mm will be back in stock soon), push back and lower seat, spring fork and ... thats it lol. There's a lot more I want, but its mainly performance and electrical mods.

Doing a little mock up for the dropout extension. Im guessing a good 7" plate... this just to clear the rim itself. Ill be putting on a 2x2.125 or so whitewall tire and stretching it (ive seen it done to the Beast 26'ers).

Thanks. I went to get some bolts for the stem (swapped for the tops of the occ riser), too long hut better than too short lol. Have to swap them for ahorter ones.
Trying to find a way to get the 1/8" steel plates, seen straps that look like they might work but not as tall as i need them. Im guessing about 2.5/3" so i can cover the stock drop out enough and get support (the rear is being pushed back a good 7.5/8" for BOTH chains the clear).

For now i have to play the waiting game yet again... ran out of funding lol. When i gey enough, im going to start on the extension. Then need to get the MM adapter. Tried to configure the kit adapter ... not happening, it works but up until maybe half way, then the spoke mount gets in the way and the bolts start to angle ugly).

Cleaned up a little and got a better view of things

    - mock update
    [IMG]

While cleaning, came across some air compressor brackets. Was shocked when I found a perfect fit with old car bolts and some off of the occ bike. Did a seat mock... not sure how Im going to bend the brackets. Im at about a 39° angle, need to do a 59° to get it leveled.

I was looking at my bike again, i dont like the negative space it has behind the seat post. Hopefully i can find something the size of this grease container, going to make a false oil bag and use it for more fuel
    ;):D

Maybe add in an actual battery box (not sure what kind of battery ... a small one but ... idk...) or just a small storage bin for like ... gum..and... papers... err gloves...

Got the seat mounted today. Have to secure the front of it and add the cross brace that was on it originally but getting close. Found some steel straps at OSH. Fairly thick, about same as the steel plate.
Lucked out today too. The small bolt holes by the rear dropout were threaded, plus were 10mm (reused the bolts for the sprocket)!! Just have to trim them, no biggie a sawzaw cant fix.
Upon, measuring for the dropout extension, the 4.25" is just a tad bit wide, so Im going to have to space the extension plates a little. Imo, this is a good thing cause with the MM adapter, i can offset the sprocket enough for a jackshaft.

Got the seat mounted, might leave it as is, works perfectly or put in a bolt to keep the seat from tilting (all thats really holding the seat to the seat mount is the seat springs).

Got the chain clearance i need, but wondering if it'll bee too much stress on the steel staps. Might have to go with the plating. I wont know for sure until i get the adapter and both chains on (i also need a chain tensioner for the regular chain).

As for this spot, i was thinking of upgrading to a jackshaft, not the shift kit. I noticed on the PC and MM adapters, you can off set. The sprocket via hub and/or use of longer bolts and spacers. Not sure how it will turn out, but would like to put less strain on the engine (i weigh about 165). I dont want it to interfere with the regular chain either.

Started on the headlight mod. Going from bulb to led (this was on the OCC bike, figured it would help with the ugly front i have atm).
    Previous bulb:

The back piece is large as all heck. So im going to buy the bullet hl w/high beam setting (use for brake light) mate the wiring with the hl, relocate the brake light batteries, wire brake lever to trigger placed into brake lever... itll look bad ... when im done. Lol

And that was me using my shirt to scrub it off!!!! The swirlies you see within the botch, that was from the steel wool, I thought I could clean it off. It most likely just made it worse.

Got more work done on the forks. Found the other set of these centering spacers i had. Grinded out the mountain bike fork so that they would fit.
