To get a consistent trim on the edge of the fiberglass, I built a milling machine using a Rotozip to cut the contour along the bottom edge of the Christy.

Here's the first test run. It was like trying to draw a circle with an Etch A Sketch but it worked.
 
Looks a bit easier than holding a Dremel vertical in your hands.
Yeah, the first few that I made were shaped with a disc sander and then hand sanded. It took a lot more time to get it smooth. With this, the contour is right where I want it every time. I did have to go over it a couple of times to take some of the wobbles out and then finish sand it, but there's no fear of cutting too deep.
