To chop or not to chop?

That is the Question. Thinking of chopping these two and making a tandem out of them complete with rack, tank, fenders, and all. What do you think?

I figured profit would be higher making a tandem than just selling just another vintage girl's bike. What do you think it'd be worth if it was put back original and cleaned up?
