The wait is over! What should I call it?

I have lusted after one of the new style Felt tankers in Aluminum for some time (I have no idea why I always capitalize Aluminum). Yes, I already own every part that will be bolted to the frame. Nope, I will not use any of the parts bolted to the frame currently. I have plans for the seat and chain ring but not on this puppy. What should I call it? Tentatively: "Spinsane."

Well Congratulations.

Step two. It goes in for fresh powder next week. A machinist is supposed to be designing/milling me a rear disc brake adapter for Skyways.

I am calling it "Spinsane." It will be a futuristic klunker with mags, rear disc brakes, moto bars, BB30 cranks. Another "bold school" build.

I have a few pics to share. I am going to put bigger tires on these wheels. One of my skyways is slowly being destroyed as the fabricator makes disc brake adapters for me so I ordered a new set. Meanwhile, the set you see below showed up. They are growing on me.

That isn't a scratch. It's bird poop. I guess the bird wants to buy it because it left a deposit on it.

I made a bit more progress but scrapped the idea of using road bike cranks due to bearing issues. Finally, I ordered set of Snafu cranks last night. Not a bad thing that a beach cruiser gets new life as a klunker.

Better pics and video will come in the future because I also own a real camera that is made for such things. My iPad is not a good camera in my hands and neither is my phone.

You will need to know which size head tube your bike has and how long the steerer tube(the tube your stem will mount to) will need to be.
