For reference, what size are the wheels?!
Guessing those are either 700c or 27" wheels, that is a big bike!
I think 27 inch.
How tall was the owner?
My uncle was 6’9” and had a bike very similar to that. His had Raleigh branding on it but I’m sure it was custom.
True story... Uncle Ray actually died on the saddle of that bike. Out for a ride after work and then he was gone. The examiner suggested that his heart had stopped before he crashed and he didn’t feel a thing as there was no bleeding from any of the wounds. A good way to pass on if you ask me.
This bike is meant for someone over 7 feet tall. Someone who is 6 foot 9 would have a 71 to 72 cm bike. This is an 80cm frame!
How high is the top tube off the floor? Looks like it would just fit under my armpit.
I remember seeing some pretty tall Ralieghs back in the day, though not as big as the green giant up there! -Adam
Reminds me a little of the bike that Cannondale made for Shaquille O'Neal.
That's not a bike I'd want to throw in a turn. And the say sport bikes have a high center of gravity. The whole line could probably draft behind whoever owns that thing. Busses and semis look at him in crosswinds and nod in agreement.
The top tube would just about fit me for a crutch!
