I'm new here but I figured I'd throw up my current project. It probably won't be finished by the deadline and it's nothing like some of the builds here. It's just some junk parts I have around the shop. The tires are new ones I bought a year or so ago for a different project. The chains are new from Walmart. Everything else is old junk...no fancy new parts or new tubing. More to come.

I chopped 2 old frames apart. I stretched the keeper about a foot or so, capped the end of the main tube, laid the head tube back a few degrees, added a rusty trike rear, threw on some new Maxxis Hookworms and some crusty cranks, an Huffy seat and Schwinn Meridian handlebar and walmart chains. It rides good. I have torn it back apart and I'm changing the rear frame and welded in the top tube.

I have it torn back apart. I welded the top tube together and to the frame. I tried to heat the rear triangle and change it but I don't like the results so I will cut it off and build it from scratch.

The wheels above are not the ones to the trike. The rears have issues so they will sacrifice their hubs to go into the 26x4 wheels for the ICT project. So, I took a different pair and cleaned them up and painted them with hammered silver. I have to get a wider front wheel. As soon as the rain stops I will do more. I am also limited since I have a torn tendon in my foot and have to wear a "boot"

I got all three tires and wheels ready. I have to center the front axle and rotate the tire so that the Maxxis logo is by the valve stem, but they are basically ready to bolt on.

Welcome to BO13
You're off to a good start.

My swollen foot (torn tendon) kept me from doing much today. I cut off the whole rear of the frame and started over. Kind of hard to see in the pic but I'm mocking up the rear again.

Ok. I thought it was better to post thumbnails. Just click on one to see full size
