RR18 1.jpg After a much-needed break from build-offs and bike building in general, I coincidentally found this old frame at a vdub show only a day or two after finding out The Venture Bros' will return for a long-awaited 7th season!

Here are some parts I'm thinking about, gonna try for a running, rusty cruiser, escape the apes and 'nanas for a while:

I'm gonna search my shed for some more of the aged parts, but I'll sling it together, then slowly refine as needed!

Bars need to be changed, seat needs to be fully fitted and the aforementioned front sprocket, but she's getting there!

Easier to see the different tire profiles in this pic, probably gonna throw a chain on, test out the riding position!

Threw on some pedals and chain, those bars it came with are far too narrow, felt I was toppling over the bike, time try out different bars...

I like the laid back seat post, but it needed to look and feel balanced, I don't want the seat to be centre stage. Luckily I found these Apes under my wheel stash, and with a vintage spinning bell, she's taking shape!

I like it much better with these apes. I have the impression that wider and taller handlebars make bikes feels bigger.

The apes balance out the tall seat.
