Ya know, water is gonna get in there and ruin that high-end valve job. Down may keep the water out of the motor..:39:
I made some drain holes in the block (box) in case of stray water but the pipes have a "deadend" against the block. Down would be less maintenance and might end up setting outside.
@MazdaFlyer
You're kicking my a.. with this one.
Dam error link, I tried to quote.
Not sure I'm kicking any butt with this contraption, it hasn't been off the lift for a quite a while. I'm not sure how it's even going to look on the ground. It will take two people to get it down.
I did take the wagon pan off and cleaned it up some.

I removed the wagon pan and wiped it down with WD40. The Radio Flyer logo graphics popped some. I also gave it a coat of BLO. It still has good patina though.

@MazdaFlyer , you are taking this over the top! I gotta get busy on the Char-iot. Added 10 hrs to my work sched, and I'm feeling the time crunch. And there's firewood to be cut and hauled up north, dontcha know...

More posts...and firewood.

Hi Everyone,
Jumping in here from Houston, Texas with our build. We found it being thrown out from the damage to one of our neighbor's house after tropical storm Harvey (it wasn't a hurricane by the time it hit Houston, "only" 51 inches of water and no place to go). But no, we won't name it Harvey. Better to forget and move on.
I had one radio flyer 90 in the past and it's very 1980s looking. I wonder if I could incorporate a huge cellphone or Phil Collins album from those days??? Nah.
My daughter is just old enough to work on this one with me. Not much doing so far, but I'm trying to show her stuff gets done when you work on it a little bit each day--every day. We're going to drop in an aluminum bedliner, fabricate a bomber-like seat bottom and flip-up wood slat back, low wheels, and a tow hitch assembly to pull her previous mini-wagon.

Welcome to the fray.

Experimented a little with graphic fonts...out of the four I picked one and my wife picked one.

Test printed of magnetic media, thus they can be repositioned.

The upper graphic has that terminator/street hawk/hunter look to it.
The lower is more traditional.

For this build, I like the upper graphic.

I used one of the the new rat rod bikes tags to reinforce my previous "oops senior" moment and narrowed the "Wagonator" graphics down to one candidate.
