Re: The Orient Express (formerly known as The Screamin' Indian)

Cool bike  , I was in the same dilemia with my pedals but the other way around way too many 9/16"s and hardly any 1/2"s

Re: The Orient Express (formerly known as The Screamin' Indian)

I got my bars mounted and took a few new pics in the sunshine

Good idea to add the truss bar, Gives it a real old bike vibe. 8)

Oh and I see you got a dropstand, KOOL! one question... how does it stay up without a clip?

Brakes???

Couldn't have added the truss without ya!

The drop stand came on the original bike. It is spring loaded ;)

Brakes? Who needs 'em? Once my tires get here the wheel set for them is laced to that Perry I got from ya.

is it possible to get a pic of the bike with the grip section of the handle bars level to the top tube? :D

If you mean flipping the bars over, then no. The twine is run through a hole in the bars to secure them. I would have to cut the grip off to remove the bars from the stem.

Re: The Orient Express is ready to race!

NICE>>>NICE>>>NICE!

Re: The Orient Express is ready to race!

Yeah, that's the best bike (IMHO) you've done yet!
I see you moved the bars back to their original position, long arms huh?

If you took a sepia photo, it would pass for an 1890s racer, awesome job!

Cheers!

Re: The Orient Express is ready to race!

Thanks, guys. I was going to wait until I had a chance to go snap some real photos with some decent back drops before I got all artsy with it, but this looks good.
