Well accidentally posted a new thread, instead of posting progress on here...so I'll post it here. Layin my pieces out and getting started!Got a name now, thanks!! It's ok to be jealous of the awesome chain guard too! I am also giving her a 3 speed with a BIG Jockey shifter and maybe a custom shift knob depending on if the guy I know can make the green ratrod rat guy!

Also, opinion... Do you like the sprocket on the one above or should I use this one?

But I can't give all my ideas away yet...

Yeah I'm leaning towards the second one. I work at a bike shop so I can tell ya whats in the boxes but... I'd have to kill ya. Just kidding! They are just new Schwinn's, nothing exciting if they're still in the boxes just duplicates of what we have already out on the show room floor, probably Hybrid/Comfort bikes like Sierra's and Voyageur's. Sorry to take the mystery out of it! haha

Also picked up a head badge tonight to make it legit :D

Goin with flow! I'll have some wheels up soon. Not a huge fan of chrome but I think these drop centers I got cleaned up nice and a rusty and chrome theme won't look to bad! Old dog new schoolin' it!

Finally got some time to work on the build! Laced up a rear wheel tonight, she now has a 3 speed, but with no coaster brake I am gonna but a drum brake in the front. :D
    Getting started...

love some of the ideas you are coming up with. Are you sure you shouldn't use a ladies frame since you're gonna half to wear a kilt with this.

no other chrome rims look better than a drop center with a blackwall on it.

Thanks guys! I am not a huge fan of chrome but I figured a healthy balance of chrome and rust would do for this bike! Seems I need to invest in a kilt too, I own a lot of plaid but not skirts lol

Wheel work is really the most difficult part of bicycle work! A lot of the cruiser guys in my area can do everything to a bicycle imaginable but wheel work, keeps me employed though :D I work at a bike shop so this wasn't my first rodeo, it is all just a really big puzzle...that can go terribly wrong with one misplaced spoke lol
