I still exist!! I'm just too busy finding cool bikes... But I worked on thus Higgins yesterday a bit... Still no Internet (posting this on my phone)... I'll go sit at Starbucks like a struggling actor and use the free wifi. Too bad I don't like coffee or struggling actors...

contrary to popular belief, im not dead, and i actually found time today to work on the jetflow today -
stripped the skirt guards down to metal...
polished the fenders - i think they may have been painted silver at some point...
looking pretty good, but elbow grease is hard to come by these days.
and.. ..

its a wheel for your bench grinder - got it at grainger.
i still cant figure out the name of the .... thing, but as soon as i do, ill be buying several - they also have a 4 inch for angle grinders.
they are not cheap, and they make the metal extremely hot, but the finish is flawless and its very quick and easy. it takes it to bare metal, so your going to have to clear coat it to retain the finish.

Looks like a pair of Kelly adjustable bars. Those look kind of mustasche style, I've got a set of the cruiser ones, just need a bike to hang them on..

spacelanders, 100 year old handlebars, and other silly stuff aside,
check this out...
now i can tell how fast im going...
my goal for this bike is to slap everything murray made in 57 on to this thing. and maybe a little later too...
heres a mock up chain guard and a a lovely spaceliner plastic hub thingy...
