this is my first post. whats up. I'm 17 and me and my friend built this in his garage last winter. it orginally started out as a mountain bike that he had. we raked it, put smaller wheels/tires on it to lower it, added the little bar and plate in the middle for somewhat of a gas tank effect, and shortened the handlebars. then we just put diff. pedals and grips on it and painted it flat black. he got the idea from a car magazine cover that showed the magazines current project car and they had painted it flat black. they called it the flat black terror, so thats where it came from pretty much.
heres just a mockup after we did all the fab. work...

since the bike was a hand-me-down, the whole project only cost us about $35.

yeah, its crazy. if your going fast around a left turn, you HAVE to make sure the left pedal is in the up position or your screwed. lol

and my dad owns a speed shop so we did all the welding and most of the fab. work there.

Yeah man, I'm the owner of teh bike. I'm only 16 yrs. old. The turning think is fine after you're use to it. We have another project in the works. We're doing a salt-flats theme to bike. We do more work, i'll post up progress pics.
