I was going to wait till the next build off to put this together, but when the parts started arriving I wanted to ride the bike more.
It was a second hand MTB fat bike that had been living by the beach in an open carport and all the non-coated parts were corroded and everything was loose - Headset BB, spokes, even the seat post.
The brakes didn't work and it was in generally poor order.
The hydro-formed Al. frame was nice enough though and the wheels were borderline OK, although the spokes were poked. The asking price was fair.
The plan: to turn it into a BMX Cruiser style with a little bit of monster truck.
Got busy over a few Coronas, cleaned an re-packed all the bearings and started combing eBay for components.
So far it's had:
I have a gold BMX Pad Set still on order too.
But for now I'm just enjoying riding it. It's a bulldozer.

- New Litepro levers
- KMC gold chain
- new braided cables all round
- BMX Cr-mo bars
- BMX stem
- New Tektro disc brakes and rotors
- Promax BMX cranks and chainring
- Carbon steerer spacers
- Post clamp
- Black ops lay-back post
- New bell, race plate and custom graphics.
I have a gold BMX Pad Set still on order too.
But for now I'm just enjoying riding it. It's a bulldozer.
