don't get me wrong, the butthole surfers are one of my all time fav bands, but pepper? the only song that ever seemed to get radio play. the trendy song that even the cheerleaders in high school loved, why'd ya have to pick that one? :) ya should have at least picked the other big hit (shame of life)

hair way to steven is a killa album , so is electric larry land.

heres one of my fav's (too bad it hit the guitar hero world) i imagen gh has alot to do with the buttholes new popularity. its got a great rat rod themed vid, and even sports some williams art (perhaps you saw his robot salesman on the g&r appetite for destruction?)

dog fashion disco ( mr. bungle clone-check out love song for a witch, and acid memoirs.)
ya might even like old ministry (1984singles to pslams 69, most of the other stuff is recycled trash imo)
pucifer (or pussyfur) is also a fantastic maynard album (maynard-tool)

I liked them til one unfortunate eve, when they had played one song, and the singer got hit with a shoe. He demanded to know who threw it, but no one would rat out the guy that did it, so the surfers walked off the stage and that was that, end of show.... pussies....

lost a lot of brain cells partying with the surfers between `86-`93! :roll: they would play in houston 3-4 times a year,plus we would road trip to austin,just for grins. a friend of mine,danny flame,used to run their projectors and lights,so we always knew where the after party was going down. they are touring again,but ive heard from friends that gibby still isnt very reliable! :cry: rather have those great memories and stories,than see them do a halfazz show.plus im too old to alter whats left of my mind! :lol: :lol:
