Welded on brake posts and made some chain tensioners out of aluminum.

Re: Street Skinny Typhoon

what did you use as padding for the seat

Re: Street Skinny Typhoon

My Padding was going to be scotch bright pads which I had but I found some closed cell packing foam 1/2" thick that I used.

I think I might be able to fit v brakes on if I modify the noodle...

i dont know what you need to do to the noodle exactly, but have you seen the cane creek v-brakes ? eliminates it, ive got one on my quadangle.

Re: Street Skinny Typhoon

I was just going to a slightly tighter bend to clear my crank. This might work if the cable sheath bends tighter than the noodle.

Been busy with house deconstruction and other stuff so I needed to do some bike work. turned a brass bushing at a friends house. Bent up some bar stock for my foot brake. Not sure if it will be practical but giving it a try. The parts:

Did a little more thinking and welding on the brake. Why not for either foot? also modded a generator taillight to a self contained flaser light with the guts from a dumpster score Sigma taillight with a broken lense don't know what color to paint the light mount. Also pedal height check mockup seems like it will be ok.

Re: Street Skinny Typhoon

Skipton the pedal loop extends through the frame to the right not quite as much as it sticks out the left for no particular reason the pedal looked too lopsided with it projecting the same distance from the frame. Travel? havent done that yet. Rubber stop built into the loop for frame stop so I dont break the cable or strech it.
