Schwinn fans love the Phantom. To me this is a lighter, faster, hot rod version. [

Colors, patterns and overall look is Phantom like. Nexxus 3speed hub makes it faster and more modern. Brown leather hairpin style seat again has the look, only faster more steamline. Bobbed rear fender says hot rod. No front fender really says hot rod!
Had to change out original spring to something beefier. Had to pre-load spring to accomodate something beefier, my butt! LOL. The square looking stem came from a 60 Schwinn Racer. It has AS bolts and is the only one I have ever seen like it. Nirve "straight" apehangers in black, and brown leather look grips add some style.Rides smooth, fast, and quiet! All the better to hear the remarks that I hope to hear.
