Stingray sissy bar shocks dimensions

I'm building a 26inch "krate" bike, I got a tall sissy bar to put shocks on BUT the diameter of the tall sissy bar is about 5/8 compared to the 1/2 of the stingray shocks. Just wondering if anyone knows if it will work with minimal fab time.

I have no hands-on experience with these items, but I understand they're just simple spring-loaded tubes, no? I'd imagine that modification equates to little more than enlarging the inside diameter of the glides. My big question would be whether or not the stock springs could adequately support an adult. Other builders want to chime in with suggestions?

I have the shocks on my stingray and it works ok. Im not a big guy though.

You can use a 5/8 bar with the shocks. You have to make the glides and cap a little bigger. They sell stiffer springs on Ebay for these.
