Sting Ray ID Help

Does anyone know anything about this old Stingray? A neighbor has it in his garage, might pop if the price is right. Thanks.

Looks like frame ,fork and crank and chain ring are the only original parts , probably pedals also , post the serial numbers and we'll get the date for you .

1980 Sting-Ray re-pop w/ a lot of non-original parts thrown on.

It's a real stingray, but as mentioned above, just the frame, forks (look like they are bent forward) and cranks.
