Hello..have been out of the Ratrod loop for awhile..discovered cigarbox guitars and was building those for awhile ..now back to the bikes
I am not sure how to properly bolt this springer to the wheel to allow movement..problem is the axle..if i tighten wheel the way its set up there is no spring action..washers in between ? have included photos
any help or photos of proper set up would be appreciated

I have detailed pics of that setup in my Flexy build from BO7. I'll get a link for you.

Also, I believe that the pivot bolts used a bronze washer (bushing, thrust bearing) just under the bolt heads, not sure if there is a shoulder for them. Where the 3rd picture shows a gap.
The moving truss fork (chrome) has oversized holes for the 5/16” axle - so it might be better if a bushing is used to tighten that gap.
