SONDORS E-BIKE AT IT AGAIN?

Just saw an ad on Facebook for a new Sonders E-Bike Kickstarter campaign.

Seems odd that they would be going this route again after they had such a successful first run. Does this mean they didn't build in enough profit to continue producing bikes or is this the new way to fund a bike business?

Was it really successful though?

I've read that some Kickstart contributors still haven't gotten thiers, and the ones that have, are sorely lesser than what they were promised, not only in range, but speed and quality.

There was an article up on yahoo about this sonders yahoo. I'd be leery, If the yahoo article was correct, it's not a stretch to think he ran out of funds trying to fulfill the first Kickstarter, and needs a 2nd influx of funds to finish his obligation...

I think what I read was that they initially set out to raise something like $75k and in the first 4 days they ended up raising $6 million.

I know someone locally that got theirs a couple of months ago and they seem to be happy with it.

I'm one of the moderators of the 3300 member Storm owners group in face book. Thank you for being supportive of our bikes. There's been to much unjustified negativity about this great bike.
