I have had this one for a while and finally have the truss rods so I am taking it apart and cleaning it up. I have only been putting it off for three years I think.

I need to get my hands on a fender roller and a few other do not have tools but it should be ready for a two day expo I kind of committed to downtown without embarrassing myself or anyone else. Biketoberfest is going to be a lot of fun this year and I am pretty stoked we were on the short list of first clubs the guys asked to participate. I should have some good ones to bring the Texas Bicycle and Beer expo. Spooky cross is the same weekend so the mountain roadie hybrid humans get to see some cycling history and meet local builders. Should be fun this year.

That's an awesome polishing station you have there!

I have my 14" wheeled set up in the garage at the house but it needs helicoils. I used it so much the motor finally let go of the base. The beast here is a little more convenient for a big workload just because the vac collects a lot of the mess but the one I have here is setup to spin faster and with larger wheels and I prefer it for finish work when i really want a mirror

You feel like polishing a FloCycle for me? :p

Beautiful work brother!!!!
Maybe I'll show up at your doorstep one day.
You should rock out to this classic when you are polishing those beauties!

I just realized I have some of those grips on another silver king here. I might just use those instead of these coke bottles. I wonder if the bars are Torrington

you don't really think about how messed up these things are until you actually take them apart to try and clean them up

Still need to make fenders. I have way to much fender hardware to go without them

Just trying to sort the fenders and truss rods at this point. I am not ready to give up all my fender doo dads

I put that truss rod thing on backward too. Kind of embarrassing but at least I figured it out before I made new ones

Maybe a chainguard too but I will need some more bar stock

The best thing about Torrington pedals is the fact you can service them.

I may want brown or wooden blocks but I will sort that out later. I love this saddle and those grips. I guess they may have to just not match

I can actually ride this now. It was a real monster the day I got it. I just took a quick test ride and that saddle and tire combination is the most comfortable that I have. Zero feedback from the road

This thing is really nice seriously. I can kind of see the point of owning one now. I can't wait to finish it

Had a great time both days at the Race and The expo. The best part about cyclist is I brought a truckload of projects the second day and they enjoyed them just as much as the show bikes. The trophies I made worked too.
